Welp, that’s a wrap to this year’s CR Unite, the Autism and IDD Care Conference. Back in person for the first time since 2019, our 4th annual user conference was an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, share, and network with our customers. The multi-day event from October 24th-October 27th, featured dynamic content and a powerful lineup of inspiring autism and IDD care thought leaders and CentralReach software experts who provided insights and best practices to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving care environment. While there is so much to talk about, here are a few highlights.

We Released the Names of the Autism & IDD Care Award Honorees!

Back in July, we launched nominations for our first-ever Autism and IDD Care Awards that recognized outstanding professionals embracing technology to transform and scale autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) care. Out of thousands of professionals, we announced this year’s 86 honorees at CR Unite 2022 last week.

These amazing autism and IDD care leaders are going above and beyond to increase access to care, improve learner outcomes, and so much more, all in the name of closing the autism and IDD care gap. Congrats to all the winners.

We shared that CR Unite 2023 will be heading to New Orleans!

At this year’s conference, we also announced that CR Unite 2023 will take place in the heart of New Orleans next year from October 16th- October 19th at the Hotel Monteleone. We can’t wait to see you all there. Sign up to get notified when registration is open.

We presented key trends happening in the ABA space.

Even with uncertain economic conditions and some discussion of compressing margins, many ABA organizations are still growing rapidly, which is seen with a 26% increase in Total Services hours delivered year-to-date along with a 14% increase in service hours per learner.

There also continues to be a large shift towards center-based services compared with home-based services, which grew 38% year-over-year.

We learned much together with a jam-packed agenda that included over 55 sessions and 13 continuing education sessions.

Over the course of the 4 days, we offered 13 continuing education sessions that attendees could use towards their certification requirements. The topics ranged from compassionate care to value-based care and the future of reimbursement with industry-leading speakers such as Mari Cerda Ph.D., BCBA, LBA, Sara Gershfeld Litvak, Nissa Van Etten, PhD., BCBA-D, LBA, and more.
