As we closed out our 5th annual CR Unite, the Autism and IDD Care Conference, there was a buzz of excitement pulsing through the room as ABA, Speech, and OT professionals picked up their boxed lunches ready to get back to doing what they do best - serving children and adults diagnosed with autism and related intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Coming together for 4 days at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, Louisiana, the conference featured dynamic content and a powerful lineup of inspiring autism and IDD care thought leaders and CentralReach software experts who provided insights and best practices to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving care environment. While there is so much to talk about, here are a few highlights.

We hosted the second annual Autism and IDD Care Awards!

The Awards program this year recognized outstanding professionals embracing technology to transform and scale autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) care. Out of thousands of professionals, we honored over 100 honorees this year.

These amazing autism and IDD care leaders are going above and beyond to increase access to care, improve learner outcomes, and so much more, all in the name of closing the autism and IDD care gap. We will be doing some special announcements around each of the award winners in the coming weeks, but in the meantime please check out the full list of winners here - Congrats to all the winners.

We introduced cari – CentralReach’s new GenerativeAI solution!

Powered by the largest proprietary data set in autism and IDD care, CentralReach’s new GenAI assistant will streamline interactions, save staff time, and provide unparalleled insights to CentralReach users once employed across its market-leading suite of solutions.

We presented key trends happening in the ABA space

Based on a subset (1,000 ABA providers) of CentralReach’s massive propriety dataset along with TripleTree’s market insights, we provided a deep dive on the factors impacting the industry at a macro level and operational level. With a 48% year-over-year increase in the demand for autism services, the demand for ABA services shows no signs of slowing down.

There continues to be some noticeable trends impacting the industry including a large shift towards center-based services compared with home-based services, which grew between 12%-17% YoY with insurance payments growing nearly 55% in some cases. CentralReach will be launching its industry report in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more information soon!

We learned much together with a jam-packed agenda that included over 50 sessions and 14 continuing education sessions

Over the course of the 4 days, we offered over 50 sessions and 14 continuing education sessions that attendees could use towards their certification requirements. The topics ranged from developing systems for a family-centric, wholistic parent training to building a data driven culture: challenges and opportunities.

Attendees heard about some of the latest innovations that CentralReach is making to both our core products and new products

We spotlighted some of the innovative solutions that customers have been tapping into to expand care access and capacity including our parent training software, CR CareCoordinator, the digitally combined ABLLS-R and AFLS, CR Assessments product, and so much more.

Attendees also had a front-row seat to the unveiling of our product roadmap, hearing highlights directly from Chief Product Officer, Cheryl Michael, including new features and functionality, product enhancements and more!

And, of course, we had fun

On this front, let's let the pictures speak for themselves but needless to say, we are all looking forward to CR Unite 2024!
