Cas Breaux
M.A., M.S., BCBA, LBA
Cas Breaux (they/them) has a Master of Arts degree in psychology, a Master of Science degree in special education, and is a board certified behavior analyst and a licensed behavior therapist in both NY and Louisiana. Cas serves as a content contributor for ABA Knowledge Builder, the assent-based and neurodiversity-informed test prep and competency solution offered at CentralReach.
They have been working in the behavior field for more than 15 years, most notably in the NYC public schools, in private clinics, and as a private practice owner. Cas took their educator roots and applied it to higher education and professional development. Since 2013, Cas has served as adjunct faculty at the Center for Behavior Analysis for the University of West Florida, teaching more than 60 semesters of graduate-level ABA content. In their current profession as the primary content creator for CentralReach’s ABA Knowledge Builder, they have created over 20 hours of content centered on neurodiversity-informed ABA, assent, dignity, and inclusion, as well as over 200 hours of content on the BCBA Task List (5th ed.) Cas’s goal is to help the field of applied behavior analysis become more assent-based and neurodiversity informed, through a lens of anti-ableism. When not working, you can find Cas crocheting whimsical animals and making them dance in TikTok videos.
