FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., CentralReach, the leading provider of Autism and IDD software, today announced that TrustRadius, the most trusted research and review platform, has recognized CentralReach with a 2022 Tech Cares Award. This third-annual award celebrates companies that have gone above and beyond to provide impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs for their employees and surrounding communities.

“CentralReach is committed to making a difference in the lives of people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. One of the ways we’re doing this is by living our core values and creating a positive workplace culture, so our employees can focus on making software products that help transform people’s lives,” said Chris Sullens, CEO of CentralReach. “This award is a testament to the work we do every day.”

During the pandemic, CentralReach maintained its positive workplace culture by developing a comprehensive action plan for the company to follow, starting with the closure of all offices (located in New Jersey, Florida, and Missouri) before state and local governments had mandated closures. CentralReach continued to listen to its employees regarding its remote work policy through surveys and other forums, which voiced an interest in both staying remote and coming into an office on a voluntary basis for collaboration. The company decided to update its policy to “remote-first hybrid,” which provides employees with a choice to work however they want to.

To make this plan a reality, CentralReach leased a new 25,000-square-foot collaborative office space at Bell Works in Holmdel, N.J. The collaborative workspace supports in-person collaboration while offering the benefits of the company’s remote-first work policy through more connectivity in breakout areas to dial in remote employees for team meetings and more.

To be accepted for the TrustRadius Tech Cares Award, each nominated organization had to be a B2B technology company that demonstrated impactful CSR initiatives in one of the following categories: volunteerism, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, charitable donations and fundraising, support for in-office and remote employees, or environmental sustainability initiatives. Everyone was welcome to nominate an organization for this award, including those who work for or with the company. All nominations were thoroughly vetted by the TrustRadius research team, and supporting proof was provided by the nominated.

“We work tirelessly to foster a positive workplace culture that supports a diverse group of remote and in-office employees at TrustRadius. Tech leaders throughout the industry are embracing similar corporate social responsibility initiatives, and we’re excited to give them the recognition they deserve with a Tech Cares Award,” said TrustRadius Founder and CEO Vinay Bhagat. “We believe corporate social responsibility will continue to become more important each year for employees, customers, and stakeholders.”
