Fort Lauderdale, FL -- March 9, 2021 -- CentralReach, the leading provider of electronic medical record (EMR), practice management, and clinical solutions that enable Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and related behavioral health practices to deliver quality autism care for superior outcomes, today announced that the company has received attestation that it complies with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Customer Data Verification standards and renewed its participation in Privacy Shield program with the U.S. Department of Commerce for the second year in a row.

In 2020, the company received its initial letter of attestation after working diligently through a rigorous process with TRUSTe LLC (“TRUSTe”), a subsidiary of TrustArc, to review CentralReach’s policies, practices and procedures and compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce with respect to the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, respectively. Corporate entities that display the TRUSTe Privacy Verified seal have demonstrated that their privacy programs, policies, and practices meet the established requirements of the program and have self-certified their participation in Privacy Shield with the U.S. Department of Commerce at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list. Receiving this accomplishment is yet another example of CentralReach’s commitment to security and privacy in the industry.

“This re-attestation of our security and privacy measures is a reminder to our customers that they’ve chosen a vendor who puts their security first,” said CentralReach SVP, Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Perry Pappas. “The unfortunate truth is that many software providers fail to invest enough in security and privacy, often to the detriment of their customer base. Customers trust CentralReach to help them protect their data, their business, and most importantly the privacy of their clients, and we remain committed to providing the most secure products available in our market again in 2021.”

TRUSTe will continuously monitor ongoing compliance through annual re-attestation, provide independent dispute resolution services to address privacy-related concerns, answer questions involving customer data from users, and provide ongoing access to privacy consulting and resources for CentralReach.
