Michelle’s career began as an undergraduate student at the University of Mississippi while working at North Mississippi Regional Center. It was there that she was able to work directly with adult residents as an assistant in a variety of capacities including resident living, aquatic therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. After graduating from Ole Miss, Michelle moved on to receive her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida. For the past 23 years she has worked with children and families in a variety of capacities including early intervention, preschool, elementary, and high school. Michelle is passionate about applying her knowledge of child development to intervention selection and working as a muli-disciplinary team member to interpret test scores for academic performance. She also loves supporting new therapists in navigating the intricacies of the workforce. She has worked for AMN since 2019 and is currently a resident of Mississippi, providing her SLP services remotely via telehealth.

 

Michelle is the proud mom of one daughter, who graduated from her Alma Mater, The University of Mississippi, in May 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and attending sporting events.
